Abby Johnstone - Grade 1 and 3 Ballet Monday

Abby is currently studying a ‘Bachelor of Music - Musical Theatre’ and has completed several certificate IV certifications in dance, dance teaching and dance management. On top of this, she has a Diploma of Dance, specialising in Contemporary, studied dance at Village Nation Performing Arts Centre, Brent Street as well as the Australian Institute of Music. We think it’s safe to say she is well qualified to teach here at NBD!
 

A diverse performer, Abby has performed in shows such as the Masked Singer, Dancing with the Stars and Dance Academy. She has appeared on the hit TV series ‘The Voice’, sharing the stage with International artists such as Kelly Rowland, Delta Goodrem and Seal. Her career has seen her perform in many corporate gigs as well, such as the Peter Allen Review Show and the Sydney Mardi Gras.
 

Teaching a variety of styles, such as ballet, acro, jazz, singing and more; Abby is a jack of all trades when it comes to dance! With years of experience preparing her students for their RAD and CSTD exams, competitions and performances, her patience makes her a wonderful role model - with her previously teaching children with special needs.

With her bubbly personality shining through her teaching style, she is sure to be a real hit with our little Ballerinas!
